Google Public DNS

Google public DNS : It is Domain Name system service offered by google.It functions as a recursive name server providing domain name resolution to any host on the internet.This service was announced on 2009 and in 2014 it was the largest DNS service in the whole world.It makes web faster and more secure.
Google public DNS operates recursive name servers for public use on following IP addresses : 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for IPv4 ,
                     2001:4860:4860::8888 and 2001:4860:4860::8844 for IPv6 as well.
 The addresses are mapped to the nearest operational server by anycast routing.

 Anycast : It is a network addressing and routing method in which datagrams from a single sender are routed to the nearest node in group of potential receivers, though it may be sent to several nodes, all identified by the same destination address.

Google Public DNS's policy specifically states, "We don't correlate or combine information from our temporary or permanent logs with any personal information that you have provided Google for other services."
